What do I need to make a kundli?
Your date of birth, your time of birth as exactly as you can get it, and the place of birth. The place gives the latitude, longitude and time zone, which decide the lagna.
Why does the birth time matter so much?
The lagna (ascendant) changes roughly every two hours, and the houses of the whole chart follow it. A difference of a few minutes can move the lagna near a sign boundary.
Which ayanamsa and chart style do you use?
Positions are sidereal with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa, the standard in India. Houses are whole-sign from the lagna. You can switch between North and South Indian chart styles.
What is manglik dosha?
