Capricorn horoscope

For Makara rashi, 2026 is the mountaineer’s reward-season, not the summit handed over, but the ridge from which the summit is finally visible. Saturn’s sign has carried discipline through leaner years, and this year the carrying begins to pay. Themes: authority earned, structures completed, and the deliberate scheduling of rest.

Career

Responsibility rises to meet Makara this year, and with it, at last, the title and terms. Management, government, engineering, construction, law and every field of patient structure is favoured. What was built in obscurity is inspected in daylight, and passes. The mid-year may bring a senior’s exit or a reorganisation that leaves you holding more; hold it well but negotiate the recognition explicitly, in writing. Saturn pays those who invoice.

Money and finance

Finances firm like good concrete: slowly, permanently. This is a year to complete long structures, the loan retired ahead of schedule, the property registered, the retirement plan actually funded. Speculation remains what it has always been for this rashi: someone else’s game. Old dues and delayed payments, some very old, arrive in the year’s second half, with the quiet satisfaction Saturn reserves for the patient.

Love and relationships

The Makara heart budgets its words, and 2026 asks for a modest increase in expenditure. Duty done silently reads, across the table, as distance; name the love that the work already proves. Married natives gain from one shared indulgence taken without guilt. For the unmarried, the year favours the steady match over the striking one, and favours acting on it, for postponement is this sign’s favourite error.

Health

The Saturn seats, knees, joints, bones, teeth, ask for maintenance now to save repair later. Walking, sunlight, calcium honestly consumed and posture honestly kept: the prescriptions are as unglamorous as they are effective. The deeper risk is overwork worn as virtue; fatigue is not a medal. Sleep is the load-bearing wall of this year’s health, and it is not optional.

Family

Duty to elders is the family theme, and Makara will discharge it, as ever, without being asked. Do it this year with presence as well as provision, the parent needs the hour more than the arrangement. A younger member may test your patience with an unconventional choice; lend them your discipline, not your disapproval. The household strengthens around one completed structure: a home, a marriage settled, a debt cleared.

Remedies

Makara is strengthened through Shani. The blue sapphire (neelam) is the classical stone, powerful and demanding a proper trial and advice before wearing, in silver on the middle finger, first put on during a Saturday. Recite Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah on Saturdays, keep the Saturday observance if suited, and give Saturn’s charity, sesame, black cloth, iron, oil, to the labouring and the poor. Service to the old and the burdened is Shani’s own remedy, and this sign performs it best.

Day: Saturday. Mantra: Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah.

Quarter by quarter

January to March: The first quarter climbs in cloud: work heavy, recognition scarce. Climb anyway and log everything; the ledger is being read.

April to June: The second quarter clears the weather, added charge, formal notice, terms improved. Accept gravely and negotiate precisely.

July to September: The third quarter carries the double load of duty at work and duty at home. Schedule rest as a duty too, or the knees and temper will schedule it for you.

October to December: The close of the year stands on the ridge: position consolidated, debt reduced, family steadied. Look back once at the distance climbed, then, being Makara, look up.
